Akiko Hartmann,

Akiko Hartmann received an Associates Degree in Biology from St. John's College in the Central American country of Belize. After attending college she worked as a dental assistant until moving to Miami, Florida in 1995. While in Miami she furthered her education by earning a second associate's degree, in dental hygiene, and graduated with honors.

Akiko joined the practice of Goldstein, Garber and Salama in 1999 as a dental hygienist. She enjoys the close relationships that she has developed over the years with her patients. Akiko is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries.

While Akiko's parents are Japanese, she was raised in Belize City, Belize and speaks three languages; Japanese, Spanish, and English. She enjoys reading, scuba diving, spending time with her friends, and playing with Haylee, her English bulldog.
