What to Expect on Your First Visit
Prior to your visit at our facility, one of our well-trained treatment coordinators will make arrangements with you. These coordinators assist you by answering any questions in regards to our practice, philosophy, and the different types of dental specialists and providers, as well as the details regarding your first visit. Any relevant patient forms will be provided to you.
Upon your first visit to our office, you will be greeted by one of our receptionists, who will promptly inform the relevant member of the team that you are present for your appointment. You may then be brought back to our hygiene department and seated in a comfortable room with all of the latest high-tech diagnostic equipment. This technology enables us to thoroughly evaluate and document your particular situation and need.
Our highly-trained hygienist will review your past dental history and then do a full examination which will include: head and neck examination, cancer screening and detection, full mouth digital radiography, and caries detection, as well as periodontal screening examination. Once this diagnostic evaluation has been completed, your visit may include cleaning and debridement of your teeth and gum tissue.
